Eligible applicants are individuals with valid enrollment in the Faculty of Music who, in addition to the completed application form, submit an informal recommendation from a subject teacher. Upon a positive recommendation, the document is presented to the Dean of the Faculty of Music for signature and then forwarded to the UdK Berlin budget office. The deadlines for submission are June 15 and November 15 each year, allowing students to coordinate their funding plans in a timely manner.

The grant from foundation funds is intended for all students who require financial support for instrumental courses, concert projects, or the acquisition of sheet music and instrument accessories. The straightforward application process ensures quick processing and disbursement, enabling study projects and artistic endeavors to be realized flexibly. Interested students can find the application form as a PDF on the UdK Berlin websites and benefit from a transparent allocation practice. Through this funding pillar, the Berlin University of the Arts Foundation sustainably contributes to unlocking the potential of future musicians and strengthening music education in Berlin.
