Grants for Diaconal Projects (proDiakonie Foundation)

The proDiakonie Foundation specifically supports diaconal institutions and church congregations in the Laatzen-Springe church district in Lower Saxony that assist people in need in various life situations. Each year, an independent board of trustees decides in November on submitted funding applications. Both established services such as debt counseling and hospice care, as well as innovative projects for single parents and young families, are supported. Engagements such as a free shop for baby starter kits, a visitation service, or other social initiatives may also receive financial grants. A prerequisite for applying is nonprofit sponsorship and affiliation with a diaconal institution or church congregation within the mentioned church district.

Interested organizations and public institutions submit their completed funding application via the provided PDF form. Support is granted exclusively as a subsidy and aims to sustainably secure and expand diaconal services. Through funding, institutions can broaden their counseling and assistance offerings, comprehensively train volunteers, and thereby strengthen social cohesion.
