Description
The Babette and Johann Jotzo Foundation specifically supports projects of the Christian Association of Young People (CVJM) in the Rheinhessen area of Rhineland-Palatinate. With a funding focus on child and youth work, education and training, as well as engagement for social cohesion, democracy, labor, and social affairs, local initiatives are financially strengthened. The foundation exclusively assists non-profit CVJM associations or groups that are recognized within the CVJM Westbund and belong to the CVJM district association Rheinhessen. Thanks to ongoing funding opportunities, project proposals can be submitted flexibly until the allocated funds are exhausted. A one-hour board consultation decides on project funding by resolution based on the submitted application documents.
For an application, the Grant Application for Projects (as of 04.2023) must be used, in which all relevant data are requested. Eligible for funding are only organizational units and staff who meet the formal requirements – recognition as a CVJM association or group within the CVJM Westbund and membership in the CVJM district association Rheinhessen. Applications can be submitted continuously without a fixed deadline, but only until the funding is depleted. Written applications are evaluated based on the provided forms, enabling a transparent and prompt funding decision. In this way, the Johann Jotzo Foundation sustainably contributes to strengthening CVJM youth work in the region.
