Grants / Project Funding of the Donaueschingen Citizens' Foundation

The Donaueschingen Citizens' Foundation continuously provides grants from the proceeds of its endowment as well as from donations to sustainably support non-profit projects in Donaueschingen. Projects are funded in the areas of education and upbringing, arts and culture, sports and monument preservation, as well as social initiatives, vocational training and further education, infrastructure and urban development, culture and media, and labor and social affairs. In particularly justified individual cases, charitable assistance may also be granted. The foundation aims to strengthen social cohesion locally and to promote creative, educational, and sporting offerings that enrich and further develop the cultural life of Donaueschingen.

Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, educational institutions, public bodies, as well as private individuals who are based in Donaueschingen or whose projects are implemented locally. A prerequisite for funding is the non-profit status of the submitted project as well as compliance with the foundation's statutes. Interested applicants submit a fully completed application form to the office of the Citizens' Foundation. There is no fixed deadline; applications can be submitted throughout the year. After reviewing the funding requirements, the foundation board decides on the grant. Through this transparent and flexible process, the Donaueschingen Citizens' Foundation offers committed associations, initiatives, and individuals a reliable source of financing for non-profit projects of all sizes.
