Grant Regional Management Upper Austria Ltd. for Consulting Services

The Regionalmanagement OÖ GmbH (RMOÖ) enables targeted consulting services for municipalities and regional development associations in the fields of spatial and regional development as well as cross-border cooperation through an annual grant from the State of Upper Austria. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Business Upper Austria, RMOÖ GmbH offers expertise in identifying and utilizing existing funding instruments. With a budgeted volume of 1.5 million euros, projects are supported that promote the sustainable development of rural areas, the optimization of municipal infrastructure, and the strengthening of cross-border cooperation. The funding contribution serves to accompany the development of concepts from specialist planning to application preparation, thereby facilitating access to further regional, national, or EU funding.

Applications are submitted once a year following the general meeting of RMOÖ GmbH and are filed directly by the company with the Office of the Upper Austrian State Government, Department of Spatial Planning. A prerequisite is an updated printout from the commercial register as well as verifiable employment contracts and work programs of the involved employees. Eligible for funding are exclusively legal entities such as regional development associations and municipalities in Upper Austria. The goal is to better tap existing potentials in the regions and ensure coordinated use of various funding instruments. Through the funding, regional competitiveness is increased and rural areas are strengthened as viable locations for living and business in the future.
