Description
The State of Tyrol supports agricultural workers employed in the Tyrolean agriculture and forestry sector in the construction, initial acquisition, as well as the expansion or renovation of owner-occupied homes. Special emphasis is placed on measures to increase energy efficiency and the use of renewable energies. Eligible applicants are private individuals up to the age of 55 who have been continuously active in Tyrolean agriculture and forestry for at least five years. Funding covers construction and renovation costs as well as expenses for energy-saving installations and modernizations. The subsidy is granted as a direct grant and can be applied for continuously.
For the application, a legally binding building permit or purchase contract, a wage confirmation from the employer (if applicable, also from the spouse or life partner), proof of receipt of tax-free benefits (e.g., unemployment benefits, emergency assistance), social security proof, and evidence of any additional income are required. Verification of the service is carried out by submitting the corresponding invoices. The guideline is based on the Tyrolean Agriculture Act (LGBl. No. 3/1975) and has been valid indefinitely since May 26, 2009. Through transparent funding, sustainable housing development is strengthened while simultaneously promoting climate protection in rural areas.
