Description

The state funding program in Tyrol aims to actively support individuals in need of care and assistance through structured day care services in nursing and care homes as well as through mobile care and support services. Both the net standard cost rates for day care and the chargeable transport services are subsidized, with a funding contribution of up to 50% of the uniformly established regional rates granted. Up to 200 days of day care can be funded per calendar year. This ensures the provision of care for those in need while also promoting relief for caregiving relatives. The financial settlement is conducted directly between the State of Tyrol and the service providers, ensuring that the funding is made available without complications.

Eligible for funding are companies, non-profit organizations, and public institutions that provide day care services according to a service agreement with the State of Tyrol. Applicants must be Austrian citizens or persons with equivalent status, residing primarily in Tyrol, who receive care allowance levels 1 to 7 and are cared for in their own household by relatives or mobile services. Approval requires proof of income as well as of care allowance receipt. Applications can be submitted continuously without a deadline, allowing flexible response to individual care needs. This funding instrument makes a significant contribution to stable care provision and relief of the family environment in the region.
