The Help with a Plan Foundation offers individuals, companies, foundations, non-profit organizations, public institutions, cooperatives, interest groups, and associations nationwide the opportunity to invest in the foundation's capital in a long-term and impactful manner. Through an endowment, the funds remain permanently in the asset base and generate annual returns, which are specifically allocated as grants to projects of the children's rights organization Plan International. Funding areas include education, climate protection, women's empowerment, child and youth work, as well as energy efficiency and social projects. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing for flexible and continuous support.

Interested donors select from thematic funds – such as the Opportunity Giver Fund for educational initiatives, the FUTURE Fund for climate-resilient measures, or the LEAD Fund for the participation of young women and girls – according to their focus areas. The goal is to sustainably empower disadvantaged children, especially girls, youth with disabilities, and members of ethnic minorities.
