Grants to Tourism Associations

The Tyrol state government continuously provides grants in the form of subsidies for tourism associations, which operate as public law entities and have corresponding budgetary requirements. The aim of this funding is to enable tourism associations to fully fulfill their statutory tasks within the framework of tourism strategic planning as well as quality-oriented regional concerns. Project outlines and detailed financing plans form the basis for a funding application, which can be submitted at any time. The approved funds are allocated to measures for the development of sustainable tourism concepts, regional offer optimizations, and the assurance of high-quality standards in the destinations of Tyrol.

By supporting public tourism associations, regional development is strengthened and long-term competitiveness is ensured. The funding has been in effect since June 4, 2013, and is not time-limited. It extends to projects aimed at the strategic orientation of tourism regions and initiatives that promote dialogue with local stakeholders. Applying institutions benefit from transparent decision-making procedures based on the guidelines of the General Funding Directive of the State of Tyrol. The initiative contributes to the sustainable further development of Tyrolean tourism in terms of holistic regional promotion and sets impulses for innovative offer structures that benefit both guests and the local population.
