Grants under the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF 2021-2027)

Within the framework of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF 2021–2027), the Federal Ministry of the Interior funds projects nationwide that are dedicated to supporting asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants. The goal is to sustainably accompany integration processes and strengthen social cohesion. Eligible for funding are non-profit organizations, public institutions, companies, as well as educational institutions based and operating in Germany. The grant targets initiatives from civil society, municipalities, and other network carriers that develop innovative concepts for language promotion, career orientation, or voluntary support. A prerequisite for funding is the direct project relevance to asylum, migration, or integration as well as compliance with the AMIF guidelines.

Interested applicants submit a comprehensive project description, a detailed financing plan, and the final proof of use. Regular nationwide funding calls provide information on application periods and funding amounts. The targeted funding within the framework of AMIF offers actors the opportunity to implement intercultural encounter formats, expand networking structures, and professionalize local integration services. Through sustainable funding and support, the fund makes a significant contribution to an open, diverse, and democratic society in Germany.
