Description
The state of Saxony-Anhalt supports a variety of initiatives with the "Integration Funding Guideline" aimed at the integration of migrants, refugee assistance, and intercultural openness. Funded projects include, among others, those for information, counseling, and support of migrants and refugees, strengthening self-organization and participation, promoting intercultural encounters, as well as measures against xenophobia, anti-Semitism, and racism. The goal is the sustainable improvement of linguistic and social competencies, the intensification of local welcoming culture, and the opening of organizations for equal coexistence in Saxony-Anhalt.
Eligible for funding are legal entities under public law (excluding direct state administration), non-profit associations and organizations engaged in integration work, as well as companies with headquarters or operations in Saxony-Anhalt. Funding is provided as a grant covering up to 85% of eligible expenses, with a maximum of €70,000 per project. Applicants must demonstrate intercultural and linguistic competence, be suitable for proper project implementation, and, if applicable, comply with collective bargaining agreements. Applications must be submitted by no later than October 31 of the year prior to the project start to the Saxony-Anhalt State Administration Office, Department 505.
