About the funder
The Achim Manz Foundation for Children with Cancer was established in 2021 by the mother of the late Achim Manz with the aim of supporting children diagnosed with cancer and their families in this existentially exceptional situation. In 2022, science and research were added as an additional foundation purpose, enabling the promotion of projects related to cancer prevention and research. Since 2023, the foundation has been a member of the Donors' Network Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar. As a trust foundation under the umbrella of "Donors for Donors," the Achim Manz Foundation supports tax-recognized organizations and projects in the Rhein-Neckar region and throughout Baden-Württemberg.

Mission & Vision
The Achim Manz Foundation is committed to providing holistic support to children with cancer and their families and to contributing to the advancement of cancer research. We promote innovative projects in the Rhine-Neckar region and Baden-Württemberg to improve the quality of life of those affected and to enhance long-term chances of cure.
Target groups
The funding measures of the Achim Manz Foundation are primarily aimed at children with cancer and their families in the Rhine-Neckar region, as well as at scientific and non-profit organizations conducting projects on cancer research and therapy in Baden-Württemberg. Both individual beneficiaries and local initiatives, clinics, and research groups are supported.
