Mission & Vision

Our mission is to strengthen intercultural exchange through financial support and professional advice, to preserve the historical memory of the displaced persons and their descendants, and to sustainably support communities in North Rhine-Westphalia in the reception and care of newly arrived individuals. We are committed to an inclusive society in which diversity is embraced as an enrichment.

Target groups

The funding programs according to § 96 BVFG are aimed at natural and legal persons under private law, in particular expellees and victims of the SED dictatorship. The integration allowances according to § 17 TIntG are paid to all municipalities in North Rhine-Westphalia that care for and finance newly immigrated persons (e.g., late repatriates, resettlement refugees, and other migrant groups).
