Albert-Hintzen-Stiftung

Private foundation

About the funder

To give a portion of his wealth to people who are significantly worse off – this was the fundamental idea of the entrepreneur Albert Hintzen, founder of the Albert-Hintzen-Stiftung. Since its inception, the private foundation has supported social and charitable projects both domestically and abroad. Among other things, it funds institutions such as hospices, food banks, Alzheimer’s societies, soup kitchens, and daycare centers locally in Hamm and Drensteinfurt as well as internationally (e.g., kindergarten projects in Nigeria). The foundation has secured funds to continuously distribute donations and acts sustainably in communities with high needs through targeted funding commitments.
