Mission & Vision
The Albertinen Foundation is committed to providing disadvantaged and ill individuals with access to medical care and nursing when no legal entitlement or personal resources exist. Our goal is to promote self-help: we support training and continuing education programs for medical personnel, strengthen psychosocial and preventive projects for families and the elderly, thereby contributing to an inclusive health and social landscape in Hamburg and worldwide.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Albertinen Foundation are aimed at people without sufficient financial or legal resources, including undocumented patients, children with severe heart defects from crisis regions, stressed and single-parent families in Hamburg, elderly and care-dependent individuals, as well as medical professionals at home and abroad. Furthermore, the foundation supports employees of the Immanuel Albertinen Diakonie and local healthcare facilities in developing and emerging countries.
