About the funder
The AllBright Foundation gGmbH is a non-profit, privately funded foundation headquartered in Stockholm with a German branch office in Berlin. Founded in 2011 by Swedish entrepreneur Sven Hagströmer and active in Germany since March 2016, it is committed to increasing the representation of women and diversity in leadership positions within the business sector. AllBright collects and publishes reliable data, raises awareness among the public, businesses, and policymakers, and advocates for concrete measures to ensure equal career opportunities for women and men. Its approach is based on meritocracy: leadership teams should consist of the "brightest talents" rather than being selected from a homogeneous group.
