Department 3 is committed to strong municipal self-governance in Carinthia, promotes the efficiency and equipment of fire brigades and civil service personnel, and ensures effective disaster protection through forward-looking planning and coordination. Our goal is to strengthen the safety and resilience of municipalities through preventive measures, training, and modern warning systems.
Target groups
Our funding and advisory services are aimed at municipalities and municipal associations in the state of Carinthia, volunteer fire brigades, civil service personnel, and disaster relief organizations. We support municipal decision-makers, emergency responders, and specialized departments in organization, training and further education, equipment procurement, and rapid assistance measures in crisis situations.
