Mission & Vision
We are committed to ensuring that all children and young people in Carinthia can grow up in a violence-free, safe environment and experience equal opportunities. Through collaborative partnerships with parents, authorities, professionals, and civil society actors, we ensure that assistance is provided early, appropriately, and sustainably. Our goal is to create structures and frameworks that offer effective protection, counseling, and support, thereby placing the well-being of the youngest at the center of our actions.
Target groups
The services and support measures of Department 4 are aimed at children and adolescents in Carinthia, particularly those in challenging life situations, as well as parents and legal guardians requiring counseling and assistance. Furthermore, professionals from early childhood education, schools, healthcare, police, psychosocial services, and youth welfare, as well as institutions and organizations in the fields of child protection and youth welfare, are addressed. Municipalities and district administrative authorities are involved as cooperation partners.
