Mission & Vision
Department 7 – Economic Location pursues the mission of positioning Carinthia as an attractive, sustainable, and competitive economic and living environment. It relies on a rolling strategy process that closely integrates politics, administration, and relevant stakeholders. The goal is to strengthen Carinthia’s economic dynamism, innovative capacity, and employment in the long term through clear prioritization, transparent management processes, and a binding implementation focus.
Target groups
The target group of Department 7 – Economic Location includes all stakeholders at the Carinthian economic location: commercial enterprises and industry, start-ups and creative companies, chambers (e.g., WKO, AK, IV, ÖGB), municipal federal special programs, research institutions, as well as representatives from politics and administration. International cooperation partners and neighboring regions in the Alpine-Adriatic area are also among the addressed target groups.
