The Finance Department of the Office of the Lower Austrian State Government (F1) is responsible for the financial processing and administration of various funding and grant foundations. In particular, it coordinates the allocation of grants to persons who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own, disabled individuals, or otherwise needy persons – including minor orphans, severely visually impaired and blind persons, patients with lung diseases, sick minor girls, and intellectually disabled women. It ensures the management of the necessary application and review procedures as well as data processing in accordance with GDPR for numerous foundations and funds.

The funding measures of the Finance Department are aimed at particularly needy individuals from Lower Austria, including those who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own, persons with physical or mental disabilities, people with eye diseases and the blind, lung patients, as well as minor orphans and sick minor girls.
