The Department of Communication and Media is a central unit within the Office of the Upper Austrian State Government (Presidency Directorate). It is responsible for all external and internal communication and media services of the State of Upper Austria: this includes the development and management of the corporate design, the publication of the Official Linz Newspaper, the state magazine "Unser Oberösterreich," press and online media work, mobile apps such as "Mein OÖ," as well as photo and media databases. It supports state politics through professional information dissemination and ensures that citizens, media, and partners are always informed in a timely and target group-oriented manner.
