The Office of the Styrian Provincial Government, Department 15 Energy, Housing, Technology, is a specialized department of the Styrian state administration based in Graz. It includes the Energy and Housing Office as well as Technology and is responsible for housing subsidies and legal transactions in the housing sector, environmental funding through the Styrian Environmental Fund, subsidies from the Eco Fund for renewable energies, as well as radiation protection emergency preparedness and response. The department offers online forms, advisory and submission offices, and supports private households, businesses, municipalities, and associations in applying for and managing funding measures.

Our mission is to promote sustainable housing construction, advance the expansion of renewable energies, and ensure technical safety standards in Styria. We contribute to the implementation of the Styria Energy Strategy 2030, climate protection, and social housing provision by providing targeted financial support and professional guidance for energy-efficient and innovative projects.

The funding programs are aimed at private households and developers, municipalities and regional authorities, companies, agricultural enterprises and cooperatives, as well as associations and educational institutions. Measures supported include the construction and renovation of residential space, the installation and optimization of renewable energy systems (e.g., solar thermal), energy-efficient technical projects, as well as emergency and safety devices in radiation protection.
