About the funder
The Office of the Styrian Provincial Government, Department 9 – Culture, Europe, Sport, is a specialized department of the Styrian Provincial Government. It is responsible for the promotion of professional artistic and cultural projects with a Styrian focus (flat-rate funding programs), the coordination and allocation of EU and international programs (European projects and Styrian external relations), as well as the educational program "Sports Training" with advanced training, instructor courses, seminars, and online offerings on the Moodle platform. The goal is to comprehensively support cultural and sports actors, promote international networking, and contribute to sustainable development.

Mission & Vision
Department 9 is committed to the advancement of art, culture, and sports in Styria, as well as to active participation in European and international exchange. Through targeted funding programs, educational and cooperation initiatives, cultural diversity is to be enriched, civic engagement strengthened, and high-level sports training ensured.
Target groups
The offerings are aimed at professional cultural workers, cultural institutions, and emerging artists connected to Styria, sports clubs, officials, trainers, and athletes, as well as sports associations, and at municipalities, associations, and organizations that wish to initiate EU projects or participate in international cooperations.
