Mission & Vision

"What was this 'moral resilience' that enabled us to steadfastly oppose a tyrannical state? We confronted the omnipresent propaganda with the firmness of our convictions; we responded to the hateful persecutions with love and a willingness to forgive; we overcame despair through the depth of our hope… May the reflective themes, testimonies, and reports that follow here help our visitors understand how intolerance leads to rejection, persecution, and ultimately to attempts at extermination. May these themes also inspire strength and courage in those who still endure oppression in any form."

Target groups

The funding opportunities and educational programs of the Arnold-Liebster Foundation are aimed at schools and teachers (teaching materials, school projects), students and researchers of Nazi history, historians and memorial sites, young people and young adults for political and moral education, as well as the general public engaged in resistance and human rights.
