About the funder
The audan kunststiftung is a legally recognized foundation under civil law based in Berlin. Founded in 2009 by Joachim Bentrup and approved by the Senator for Justice Berlin, it promotes visual arts and has supported the acquisition and dissemination of drawings for non-profit graphic collections for over ten years. Furthermore, it implements international projects such as the "European Drawing Workshops," art workshops for traumatized children in Ukraine, as well as artist-in-residence scholarships for artists from Eastern Europe.

Mission & Vision
The audan kunststiftung aims to promote art and culture, education and upbringing, as well as international understanding. It awards scholarships to young people and their projects in the field of visual arts, with a focus on exchange between Germany and the Eastern European countries, in order to support intercultural youth encounters and understanding.
