About the funder
The Auerbach Foundation was established in spring 2005 by Tjark Auerbach and is a private, independent foundation based in Bruchsal. It exclusively pursues charitable, scientific, cultural, and non-profit objectives and operates its own projects such as the future lab "Z-LAB" as well as supports external tax-privileged organizations. The foundation initiates and promotes hands-on educational programs and research formats in the STEM and ESD fields and additionally supports scientific, cultural, and social initiatives of other non-profit organizations.

Mission & Vision
"A future full of opportunities" – the Auerbach Foundation is committed to opening up new development and educational perspectives for children, young people, and non-profit organizations in the Bruchsal region and beyond. Through its own projects, such as the recognized extracurricular research center Z-LAB, as well as funding initiatives for cultural, scientific, and social endeavors, it contributes to the sustainable shaping of education and society.
Target groups
As a funding provider, the Auerbach Stiftung targets tax-privileged organizations, particularly non-profit and cultural institutions as well as scientific and educational establishments. Private individuals are excluded from funding. With its future laboratory Z-LAB, the foundation also directly addresses students and teachers to practically strengthen STEM and ESD education in the Bruchsal region.
