Mission & Vision

The Baydur Foundation is committed to providing children and adolescents, especially those from disadvantaged and immigrant families, with early access to European musical culture. Through shared musical experiences and professional support, their personal and social development is to be promoted. The foundation believes in the integrative power of music and aims to offer children sustainable experiences in open, creative learning formats.

Target groups

The funding programs of the Baydur Foundation are aimed at preschool children and youth from all social backgrounds, with a special focus on children with a migration background, children from socially disadvantaged families, and musically gifted young talents. Approximately 250 children participate annually in rehearsal visits and concerts, around 18–20 daycare centers benefit from EMP courses, and educators are prepared for the music education offerings through training sessions.
