Mission & Vision

The Bergedorf-Bille Foundation is committed to strengthening the coexistence of diverse cultural and social groups within neighborhoods and combating social isolation. Through low-threshold meeting opportunities at 17 community centers, project funding in youth and elderly care, as well as initiatives promoting international understanding and tolerance, the foundation aims to foster neighborhood networking and enable social participation.

Target groups

The funding and meeting opportunities of the Bergedorf-Bille Foundation are aimed at residents of the neighborhoods managed by the Bergedorf-Bille Housing Cooperative, particularly neighbors and interested parties of all generations. Eligible to apply for project grants are non-profit associations, social work providers, and organizations for child and youth welfare. Specific target groups include children and adolescents, senior citizens, as well as individuals at risk of social isolation.
