About the funder
The Bernhard Heiliger Foundation is a non-profit, legally recognized private law foundation based in the former studio building of the sculptor Bernhard Heiliger in Berlin-Dahlem. Founded in 1996 to preserve and art-historically process his estate, it archives and conserves sculptures, reliefs, drawings, assemblages, as well as historical documents and photographs. The foundation supports external exhibitions through loans, promotes scholarly research on Heiliger’s oeuvre, and operates the Kunsthaus Dahlem (Atelierhaus Dahlem gGmbH) as an exhibition venue for post-war modernism.

Mission & Vision
The Bernhard-Heiliger-Stiftung aims to scientifically examine the artistic life's work of Bernhard Heiliger, to archive and preserve his extensive estate, and to present his sculptures both nationally and internationally.
