About the funder
The Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (BMASGPK) is a supreme federal authority of the Republic of Austria. It is responsible for labour market policy, labour law, and occupational safety, manages the healthcare system and public health, shapes long-term care provision as well as social policy, and supervises social insurance. Furthermore, it protects consumers, develops funding programs and guidelines, and coordinates national initiatives and projects with federal states, municipalities, research institutions, and civil society actors.

Target groups
The funding programs of the BMASGPK are aimed at non-profit associations, social organizations, research institutions, companies, and public bodies that implement projects in the fields of labor, social affairs, health, care, and consumer protection. In particular, Section VII supports initiatives in the health sector focusing on health promotion, prevention, quality of care, and scientific research.
