Mission & Vision
Our mission is to advance sustainable mobility and pioneering innovations in Austria. We create the framework conditions for excellent research and technology development, promote dialogue between science, business, and society, and shape a climate-friendly, digital infrastructure. In doing so, we rely on effective funding instruments, international cooperation, and a strong federal funding agency "BMIMI" to secure economic prosperity and quality of life in Austria.
Target groups
The BMIMI targets its funding programs and policy measures at Austrian companies of all sizes, research institutions, universities, start-ups, and networks in the fields of research, technology, and innovation. Furthermore, municipalities, infrastructure operators, transport companies, and citizens benefit from the Ministry's measures aimed at sustainable mobility and modern infrastructure.
