About the funder
The BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt is the independent corporate foundation of the BMW Group, headquartered in Munich and Berlin. As an international network foundation, it brings together leaders and experts from business, politics, science, and civil society. Through thematically focused "Challenges" and its Responsible Leaders Network, it promotes cross-sector collaboration, impact investments, and programmatic initiatives to develop sustainable and effective solutions for global challenges such as climate change, urbanization, and education. The foundation is supported by the capital of the BMW Group and the Stefan Quandt and Susanne Klatten families and invests over 10% of its assets in impact investments.
