The State Center adheres to the guidelines of the Beutelsbach Consensus and is committed to voluntariness, self-efficacy, nonpartisanship, citizen-oriented communication, and democracy education. It invites all interested parties to engage in the democratic society in a self-determined and informed manner, to discuss different perspectives, and to understand and promote the constitutional order of the State of Brandenburg.
Target groups
Funding programs and educational offerings are aimed at clubs of all kinds, non-governmental and non-profit organizations, as well as recognized continuing education institutions that conduct political adult education events in the state of Brandenburg. Individual projects such as seminars, exhibitions, eyewitness events, workshops, conferences, and artistic projects are supported, provided they address contemporary political issues, promote historical awareness, contribute to extremism prevention, and encourage civic engagement.
