About the funder

The Bremer Schuloffensive Non-Profit Foundation was established in 2002 by the association bremer schuloffensive 2000 e. V. to ensure the successful, unbureaucratic support of extracurricular projects in Bremen in a long-term and sustainable manner. With an endowment capital currently amounting to 1,500,000 euros, it finances 80% of the association’s core work through the annual returns. The association supports schools in the areas of art & culture, music, sports, dance-theater-literature, and language promotion. The remaining 20% of the returns are allocated to the funding of special individual projects. Since its founding, the foundation has made over 800,000 euros available to the association.

Mission & Vision

Education inspires! We support students in Bremen quickly, unbureaucratically, and effectively by promoting cultural, sports, music, and language projects. Our goal is to strengthen perception and cognitive skills, social competencies, as well as the self-esteem and emotional connection of young people to their school.

Target groups

The funding opportunities are aimed at public and private schools in the state of Bremen as well as their classes and learning groups. Projects in the fields of art & culture, music, sports, dance-theater-literature, and language support that complement the school curriculum and assist children in their motor, cognitive, and social development are funded.
