Bremer Umwelt Beratung e.V.

Since 1990, Bremer Umwelt Beratung e.V. has been active as a non-profit organization in independent environmental consulting, supported by the Bremen Senator for Environment, Climate, and Science. Its focus areas include construction, housing, and energy, as well as rainwater management and environmental education. The consulting services are primarily aimed at private households, property owners, and institutions in Bremen. In addition to technical and structural advice on insulation, heating technology, and rainwater utilization, BUB manages the rainwater management framework program and serves as the coordination office for Environmental Education Bremen.

Bremer Umwelt Beratung e.V. promotes active climate protection and resource conservation through independent and practical consulting. We are committed to enabling Bremen households and property owners to make sustainable decisions—whether in energy-efficient construction and renovation, proper rainwater management, or environmental education. In addition, we address students and young adults who wish to engage in environmental education and communication through internships or the Voluntary Ecological Year (FÖJ).
