Brungs-Stiftung
About the funder
The Brungs Foundation is a legally recognized foundation under civil law based in Berlin. It was established to support emergency and rescue personnel – such as those in water rescue, fire departments, disaster relief, and civil protection – with equipment, technical devices, and training materials. Through financial grants, the foundation enables the procurement of consumable parts, specialized equipment (e.g., gloves, helmets, life jackets), communication technology (radio devices, smartboards), as well as training resources (dummy equipment, courses). The goal is to minimize risks for responders and to improve operational capabilities both domestically and abroad.

Mission & Vision
Our goal is to help those who help others. The Brungs Foundation supports rescue from life-threatening situations, fire, occupational, disaster, and civil protection, as well as accident prevention through equipment, technical devices, and training. We aim to provide emergency personnel with the necessary resources to carry out their missions more safely and effectively.

Emergency and rescue personnel from all organizations are supported—regardless of their operational area and location, whether domestic or abroad. This includes volunteer and professional fire brigades, DLRG and DRK water rescue services, sea rescuers, Malteser, rescue dog units, as well as other disaster and civil protection associations requiring technical equipment and training.
