It supports projects in the fields of child, youth, and senior assistance, culture and sports, as well as charitable causes. Its goal is to support initiatives that serve the interests of the region and its citizens and to strengthen civic engagement locally. Since its founding, numerous local initiatives and non-profit projects have been funded.

Mission & Vision
The Bürgerstiftung Achern und der Region is committed to promoting the common good in Achern and the surrounding communities (Renchen, Kappelrodeck, Ottenhöfen, Seebach, Sasbach, Sasbachwalden, Lauf). It aims to strengthen community spirit, support civic responsibility, and initiate and support sustainable projects in the fields of education, culture, social affairs, nature conservation, and sports. Through transparent allocation of funds, citizens should be able to directly observe the impact of their donations.
Target groups
The target group of the Bürgerstiftung Achern und der Region includes residents of all age groups in the city of Achern and the surrounding communities. Funding is primarily provided to non-profit organizations, associations, initiatives, as well as individuals with projects related to youth and elderly care, cultural and sports facilities, and charitable endeavors. Additionally, sick or socially disadvantaged individuals may be supported on a case-by-case basis.
