Mission & Vision
"By people for people" – Wherever public authorities cannot (sufficiently) provide assistance, the Bürgerstiftung Billerbeck seeks quick, unbureaucratic solutions. It supports projects financially and ideologically to strengthen social cohesion and the support opportunities for needy families, individuals, and nonprofit organizations locally.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Bürgerstiftung Billerbeck are aimed at needy families and individuals in distress, local non-profit organizations (in particular support associations of daycare centers, schools, and cultural institutions), as well as clubs and initiatives in the fields of education, youth and elderly care, culture, environment, sports, health promotion, and disaster relief. Both individual projects and ongoing programs that sustainably promote the common good in Billerbeck are supported.
