About the funder
The Bürgerstiftung Bramsche is a foundation established by citizens for citizens, committed since its founding in 2005 to the common good in the city of Bramsche. It is building a capital base for the long term in order to support local non-profit associations, initiatives, and projects of municipal institutions from the returns as well as additional donations. In doing so, it does not aim to replace mandatory municipal tasks but to complement them meaningfully – all grants are fully allocated to the intended purpose.

Mission & Vision
Under the motto "A Benefit for All," the Bürgerstiftung Bramsche aims to encourage the citizens of the city to engage in their local community and to purposefully support existing initiatives. It supports projects in the fields of education and upbringing, youth, family, disability and elderly care, sports and social affairs, culture and arts, as well as heritage preservation and monument protection, in order to sustainably and forward-looking develop Bramsche and strengthen positive coexistence.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at citizens of Bramsche – individuals, associations, initiatives, and municipal institutions. Projects and activities that make a sustainable contribution to the common good and fall within the foundation's established funding purposes are supported: education and upbringing, youth, family, disability and elderly assistance, sports and social affairs, culture and arts, as well as local heritage preservation and monument protection.
