Bürgerstiftung Buschdorf

Non-profit organization

About the funder

The Buschdorf Foundation was recognized as a legally independent foundation by the Cologne District Government on June 29, 2006, under the original name "Bürgerstiftung Buschdorf." With the renaming to "Buschdorf-Stiftung" on December 8, 2016, it pursues the promotion of elderly and youth welfare, disability assistance, as well as charitable purposes. In particular, it supports individuals who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own and are in need, as well as the financing of medically necessary treatments when adequate support is not provided from other sources. Its activities are geographically limited to Buschdorf and its population. The work of the foundation is supported both ideologically and materially by the Förderverein der Buschdorf-Stiftung e.V.

Mission & Vision

The Buschdorf Foundation provides unbureaucratic and prompt assistance to Buschdorf residents who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own. It deploys its financial resources and endowment to support elderly care, youth welfare, disability assistance, and other charitable purposes within its settlement area. In doing so, it works closely with the support association to sustainably improve life in the Buschdorf district.

Target groups

The funding programs of the Buschdorf Foundation are aimed at residents of the Bonn district of Buschdorf who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own. This particularly includes elderly people, children and adolescents, as well as individuals with disabilities. The goal is to support those in need in their life situations and to provide them with access to necessary social and medical assistance.
