Bürgerstiftung Geislingen an der Steige

The Bürgerstiftung Geislingen an der Steige is a legally capable foundation under civil law based in Geislingen an der Steige. It supports charitable tasks and projects that are not financed by public authorities, particularly in the areas of art, culture, local heritage preservation, monument protection, nature conservation, environmental protection, education, upbringing, youth and elderly care, integration, equality, as well as civic engagement. The foundation manages its capital sustainably in order to generate long-term returns for funding measures and to motivate citizens to participate in social responsibilities.

Our goal is to strengthen personal responsibility and community spirit in Geislingen an der Steige. We support projects and initiatives that promote cohesion and sustainably improve the quality of life in our city. The funding programs are aimed at non-profit associations, institutions, initiatives, groups, and individuals based in or active in Geislingen an der Steige and the Türkheim district. Projects that comply with the statutes, demonstrate own contribution, involve cooperation partners, and can be implemented within twelve months are supported.
