Bürgerstiftung Herzebrock-Clarholz

The Bürgerstiftung Herzebrock-Clarholz is a non-profit community foundation whose motto, "We for our community," forms the core of its work. As a local community institution established by citizens, it promotes projects and initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of life in Herzebrock-Clarholz. The foundation particularly supports measures in the fields of education, sports, arts and culture, youth and elderly care, environmental and landscape protection, as well as intercultural understanding. It is governed by an independent board of trustees that decides on the submitted funding applications.

"We for our community" means that citizens jointly take responsibility for the development of their homeland. The foundation aims to use its funding specifically to support projects that are exemplary, serve as role models, and strengthen the sense of belonging among all age groups and nationalities in Herzebrock-Clarholz. In doing so, it relies on transparency, citizen participation, and sustainable impact.

Funding applications can be submitted by non-profit institutions, public bodies, associations, and other initiatives from Herzebrock-Clarholz. Priority is given to projects that operate locally, include minorities, involve voluntary engagement, and promote sustainable, self-sustaining structures. One-time grants serve as seed funding for pilot projects that can continue independently after the funding period ends.
