About the funder
The Bürgerstiftung Karow is a non-profit trust foundation, established in 2008 by local initiators with the support of the Association of German Foundations. It builds a permanent endowment through additional donations, the proceeds of which are continuously invested in projects in the Berlin district of Karow. Since its founding, public green spaces have been created, historic buildings restored, and educational or environmental projects of daycares and schools financially supported.
