The Bürgerstiftung Mülheim an der Ruhr is a non-profit foundation under civil law, recognized by the Düsseldorf District Government on 06.02.2004. As an initiative of committed citizens, it initiates its own projects and supports selected local endeavors in the fields of culture, social affairs, urban development, environment, child and family friendliness, as well as the integration of refugees. Through unbureaucratic, targeted action, it strengthens shared and individual responsibility within the community and contributes to the sustainable improvement of the quality of life in Mülheim.

Mission & Vision
Our goal is to strengthen the shared and individual responsibility of the citizens and to sustainably promote civic engagement in Mülheim an der Ruhr. We aim to inspire individuals and companies to actively contribute to the community and to support them in implementing their ideas in a straightforward manner.
Target groups
Our services are aimed at citizens as well as businesses, associations, and initiatives in Mülheim an der Ruhr who wish to strengthen the community through private and personal commitment.
