The Bürgerstiftung Rheda-Wiedenbrück is a legally recognized foundation under civil law based in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. It was established in 2006 by committed citizens and has an endowment of nearly €3 million. Mission & Vision
The Bürgerstiftung Rheda-Wiedenbrück aims to contribute permanently to the quality of life in the city and to strengthen civic engagement. Target groups
The funding opportunities are aimed at non-profit organizations, initiatives, associations, schools, daycare centers, youth centers, as well as citizens of the city of Rheda-Wiedenbrück. Projects and individuals that have a direct connection to the city, are carried out with a high level of voluntary commitment, and provide a sustainable, cooperative benefit for the common good are supported. Additionally, the foundation assists young people and families in acute emergencies or for outstanding achievements.
