Bürgerstiftung Stuttgart
About the funder
The Bürgerstiftung Stuttgart is an independent and non-profit foundation established by citizens of Stuttgart. It supports long-term charitable projects and collects endowments and donations to provide unbureaucratic assistance to initiatives in Stuttgart. With its own foundation capital, fundraising, and proceeds from the Bürgerpreis as well as other funding instruments such as the Children & Youth Fund or "Little Pots," it strengthens social cohesion, neighborhood relations, and civic engagement. The foundation brings together people from civil society, administration, business, and culture at roundtable discussions to jointly develop solutions for challenges such as integration, education, poverty, and participation.
