The Bürgerstiftung Wardenburg was registered in the foundation register in March 2012 (Number 08 (026), Office for Regional Development Weser-Ems) and is a non-profit foundation with the goal of strengthening the sense of community and civic engagement in the municipality of Wardenburg. It enables citizens and companies to sustainably support projects in the areas of education, upbringing, intergenerational exchange, equal opportunities, culture, sports, and the environment through donations, endowments, and voluntary commitment. The foundation finances initiatives from its proceeds and donations that sustainably improve the common good in the region.
