Bürgerstiftung Weil am Rhein

Private foundation

About the funder

The Bürgerstiftung Weil am Rhein was established in 2006 as a legally capable foundation under civil law, recognized by the Freiburg Regional Council, and founded by more than 50 citizens and local businesses. Its objective is to build a permanent foundation capital through endowments and donations, the proceeds of which are used to sustainably support projects in the areas of youth and elderly care, education, social integration, and intercultural coexistence in Weil am Rhein. The capital remains untouched, and donations are promptly allocated to current projects.
