About the funder
The Bürgerstiftung Weinstadt is a legally independent foundation under civil law that operates economically and politically autonomously as an independent institution. Founded in 2006 with initial capital of 75,000 euros, it has since more than tripled its foundation capital. The foundation consolidates civic engagement in Weinstadt, promotes charitable projects, and supports volunteer organizations and associations locally. Since its inception, it has invested over 140,000 euros in projects, more than half of which have been directed towards projects by and for youth.

Mission & Vision
The Bürgerstiftung Weinstadt is committed to encouraging citizens and businesses to actively engage in the common good of Weinstadt and to take responsibility for the present and future of the city. Our goal is to promote sustainable, charitable projects that strengthen social, cultural, and ecological cohesion.
