Shareholders and partners include chambers, associations, insurance companies, and credit institutions. BMV provides default guarantees for short-, medium-, and long-term loans of all kinds for economically viable projects, thereby improving access to financing. Additionally, it provides equity capital through the Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern mbH (MBG MV) to promote entrepreneurial freedom and growth.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to ensure that no promising project fails due to a lack of collateral. We act as guarantors for businesses and founders in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania to improve their credit rating and creditworthiness, thereby enabling better terms and access to loans. In doing so, we make a sustainable contribution to economic development and job creation in the region.
Target groups
The funding programs of BMV are aimed at commercially active small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as members of the liberal professions with investment locations in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This includes start-ups and successors who wish to finance investments, working capital, or guarantees and have insufficient credit collateral. Our guarantees support both new businesses and established companies in growth and stabilization projects.
